To reach Corippo, it is best to use public transport or the Verzasca Mobile shuttle service available from Lavertezzo in the Posse area or from the Corippo junction. Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

On Friday 12, Saturday 13, and Sunday 14 December, “Le Notti incantate di Corippo” (The Enchanted Nights of Corippo) offers three days of festivities with visits to the nativity scene, live music in the alleys, stories by candlelight, fondue, mulled wine, Christmas tea, a black kitchen with traditional crafts, local Verzasca products, and special afternoon programs: on Saturday for children with the activity “create your own lying sheep,” fairy tales, and “pagn ai üghètt.” On Sunday, there will be a concert in the church and “om da fòra i brasc” – chestnut roasting.

To reach Corippo, it is best to use public transport or the Verzasca Mobile shuttle service available from Lavertezzo in the Posse area or from the Corippo junction, on Fridays from 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2:30

For the occasion, with a steaming cup of mulled wine or Christmas tea offered by the Albergo Diffuso upon arrival in the square, a charming string of stars will gently light the way for visitors and accompany them as they enjoy all the activities on offer along the narrow streets. Visitors will stroll among the large nativity scene and its satellites, accompanied by the notes played by musicians in the loggias of private homes, or listen to fairy tales by candlelight with Palmira and Berto, inhabitants of Corippo as it once was. You will discover the film that comes from the past in the black kitchen, reminiscent of traditional crafts and foods, or the stalls selling local products after peeking into one of the future rooms of the Albergo Diffuso. In the afternoon, there is a special program at 3:00 p.m. Saturday is dedicated to children with “create your own shaggy sheep,” fairy tales for the little ones, and “pagn ai üghètt” straight from the wood-fired oven. On Sunday, there is a concert in the church and om da fòra i brasc – chestnut roasting. You can choose whether to enjoy the Fribourg-style cheese fondue before or after your visit, for lunch or dinner, stop to enjoy a concert, try your hand at an activity, or choose an original Christmas gift. The various offerings are constantly changing. Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturdays from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Corippo, the Corippo of Enchanted Nights, brings everyone together: residents, representatives of the diaspora, tourists, and even ancestors, as assured by a gentleman, descendant of a Corippo family, who said he was happy: “You have done a wonderful thing; our elders in the cemetery are smiling right now.” We want to believe him and invite you to see for yourself.
